What was the highlight of Hotel Aventino Rome
Enjoyable experiences with some minor inconveniences.
Great helpful staff, hotel has a nice charm to it, shower was nice, room had a safe which was very helpful.
The cooling system made a gurgling sound all night both nights and made it difficult to get good sleep. We had issues with the lights intermittently going out but the staff came up with a way to circumvent the sensor problem. The bedding was just not that comfortable for our liking. The TV didn't seem to have any access to stations.

What was the highlight of Hotel Aventino Rome
All-round lovely hotel in a very peaceful location.
This was all-round a lovely place to call 'home from home' for a week while attending a conference. The hotel and the neighbourhood were super-peaceful (super-important to me). I was not once disturbed at night by other guests or traffic. The neighbourhood is a lovely one, and although not absolutely downtown, it is still historic and an easy 20-30 minute walk to the most famous attractions. There are also some lovely local dining options down the hill. Breakfast was simple but a good selection of high-quality things, and with good coffee. Our room was quite small, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff were always kind and friendly.
Nothing significant to write here. Maybe a little more space to store our clothes - we had to do a bit of 'living out of suitcase', but really - not a big problem!
